The identity of Top Gear’s ace driver The Stig is a bigger mystery than the Loch Ness Monster and who killed JFK.
Nearly a quarter of Brits polled believe it is the top riddle of the last 100 years.
The Stig came in ahead of the disappearances of Lord Lucan and Shergar.
Nessie came second on 16%, with the deaths of JFK and screen star Marilyn Monroe also lagging behind in the poll by Doritos crisps.
