Uncamouflaged new Volkswagen Touareg caught!
We´ve been shooting cobbled together mules for the next-gen Touareg for almost a year, then got close the heavily camouflaged prototypes, but today we have photos of the car without an inch of disguise! After a dramatic hunt on tiny country roads in Portugal our shooter was able to flash the car at 4.00 a.m. somewhere in the middle of nowhere...
It's incredible that Volkswagen is testing the car without any camouflage. Why? Our first though was that this prototype is a mule with some details from the new model, but a closer inspection told us that this is the new Volkswagen Touareg. Ok, the taillights still doesn't fit so well, but if you look at the rear bumper the thrunk etc you can see that these are very much different from the old Touareg. The only thing we have our doubts about is the front bumper. We think this is not the final version.
