Sabertooth Motorcycles, created in 2005 by Dr. Ben Daniels, is pleased to announce it has entered into a partnership with Taylor Race Engineering, the premier supplier of specialty transmissions for high-powered race vehicles, to develop a new multi-speed transmission for all Sabertooth V8 Motorcycles.
This will be the first transmission designed and engineered specifically for use in a motorcycle that can handle the torque and horsepower generated by a V8 engine.
“We are very excited to be working with Sabertooth Motorcycles on this project,” said Mike Watson, CEO of Taylor Race Engineering. “Dr. Daniels’ idea of ultimate performance is in line with our own vision and we are thrilled to be the first company to design a multi-speed, purpose-built motorcycle transmission for a V8 motorcycle.”
