Watch for motorcycles - but not to aim for them!!
Two motorcyclists, one from Magalia and the other from Sacramento, were victims in a road-rage incident on northbound Highway 70, just north of Plumas Lake, on Saturday evening.
According to a news release from the California Highway Patrol, Yuba City resident Tammy Leigh McCartney attempted to hit two motorcyclists, Max Croxton of Magalia and Robert Trottier of Sacramento, after they passed her at a stoplight.

| The CHP report stated McCartney used her 2002 Porsche Boxter to intentionally ram the left side of Croxton's motorcycle, leaving him with complaints of pain in his left leg and back. After passing Croxton, McCartney reportedly sped up and tried to push Trottier into the southbound lane. Trottier was able to maintain control of his motorcycle but has complained of pain in his back as a result of the incident. |
