Wings of Prey now available for online download & purchase
Gaijin Entertainment is proud to announce the release of the downloadable version of Wings of Prey, a new World War II flight combat simulator for the PC. The eagerly anticipated game is available for online purchase through yuPlay.com for $49.99. Flight sim jockeys who acquire Wings of Prey through the digital distribution store will receive two exclusive planes at no extra cost.
The final version of Wings of Prey arrives on the heels of an intense gameplay and technology beta test. In the coming months, Gaijin will continue to enhance Wings of Prey and nurture a dynamic online community, with special emphasis given to the release of new missions and additional the planes. In addition, players will be able to stock their virtual hangars with some of the most powerful planes of the Second World War. The first downloadable plane, the Curtis P-40E, is available now for a small fee.
Wings of Prey is based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of World War II. Players can participate in some of the war’s most famous battles piloting fighters, battle planes and bombers across a range of thrilling missions. There are six theatres of war to engage in – The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Ardennes, Berlin, Sicily and Korsun' representing the main airborne battles of World War II in Europe.
Wings of Prey also boasts an all new damage effects engine as well as advanced environmental visuals enriching the game play. Wings of Prey features hundreds of airplanes taking part in air battles. The unique environmental engine also produces highly detailed, realistic landscapes that allow players to see breathtaking ground support actions.
