Jamie Earnhart, a 20-year-old Spartanburg County man was jailed after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend while she was holding her baby, then got beat up by her children, hence the funny mugshot.

| According to Spartanburg County police, the victim, Kathryn Thomason, returned home from hanging out with a couple of her friends on Sunday night and started to lay down when her boyfriend, Earnhart, became enraged and started yelling at her, waking up her infant child. After she picked up the baby, Earnhart pushed her, causing her and the baby to fall over. She picked up the child again, and Earnhart struck her in the face while she was holding the baby, and continued to scream at her. Investigators say Thomason's other children, whose ages have not been released, heard the commotion between the couple and rushed to their mother's aid. When they saw what was going on, they attacked Earnhart, hitting, biting, and scratching him, and not allowing him to leave until police arrived on the scene. |
