As batteries get better and come in different shapes and sizes you can see they have used this to make the battery and motor part of the front frame. Motor Trend has driven the Audi S8 and done a 8:28 video. I enjoy their reviews as they tend to be higher end vehicles without the typical bias we have been forced to consume. While most so called reviewers avoid the negative or simply try to spin the negative into a positive, Motor Trend is much more honest and they do so respectfully.

Since most of us don’t have $110,000 laying around this is as close as most of us can get to the Audi S8 although it really is a niche car. This HUGE (4,400+ pounds) 4 door couple can hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and the quarter mile just shy of 12 seconds. It has a twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 32-valve V-8, aluminum block and heads with direct fuel injection pushing 520 hp through the 8 speed automatic transmission. Impressive numbers
