Hot Wheels 2012 Angry Birds Green Piggy 1:64 scale now available

Another new product now available via the Angry Bird line, this time a 1:64 scale green piggy. Might be fun for the kids but surely has to annoy Mattel and Hot Wheels collector’s. I would assume to keep your Hot Wheels collection up to date you HAVE to have this but it just feels weird. Limited stock to make matters worse and cost is $14.95. 2 more sold as I wrote those so if you want one... Good luck!

Solar Powered Hydrogen Car

Anyone into R\C should get a kick out of this; the solar powered hydrogen car. This is something you can say your friends don’t have especially since it is a new arrival at Sharper Image.

Pour water into the hydrogen refueling station and activate the solar panel—if it's not sunny, simply insert a couple of batteries. The solar panel generates an electric charge and applies it to the water, resulting in electrolysis. The water splits into hydrogen molecules (H2) and oxygen molecules (O). The refueling station releases the oxygen into the air and sends the hydrogen to the Solar Powered Hydrogen Car via the hose, where it enters the car's Proton Exchange Membrane fuel cell. In the fuel cell, the hydrogen generates an electrical current and recombines with oxygen from the air and the car releases the resulting water vapor.

Sometimes it is the simple things that just seem like a great idea. Does your kid have a scooter and a sled? What about a scooter that converts to a snow scooter by replacing the wheels with 2 small skis? Simple, yet brilliant. Considering that it is at the expensive Hammacher Schlemmer store, $69.95 seems pretty reasonable. I have never seen one and according to the reviews so far it’s a good product that will make your snowflake the envy of your cul de sac.

Remote controlled Angry Birds? Why not? [Video]

I must admit that I am a bit exhausted at the whole Angry Bird franchise. Look, I like the game and I even had a t-shirt and an a iPhone cover (that was one of the worst phone covers ever) but remain amazed at how many products it has spun off. This, however has to be the exception and should have easily been the first Angry Birds products released; Angry Birds Infrared Controlled iRacers.

Imagine having an Angry Bird and firing it from a toy slingshot at which point you can actually control it via remote control when it hits the ground. I suspect the thrill will wear out pretty quickly but it’s still a great idea, until someone loses an eye. Pricing seems reasonable at £21.99

Here is an awesome video of a couple guys flying their helicopter and they spot a R\C hobbyist flying his R\C plane. They were admiring his little personal R\C runway when the hobbyist crashes his R\C plane into the top of the tree. The helicopter pilot thinks it would be pretty cool if they could grab it out of the top of the tree. A few f-bombs get dropped so let’s call this NSFW.
