Audi dropping the A2 Concept

The BMW i3 just got a little less competition as Audi has announced they will not be making the A2 but like a lot of concepts you might be seeing bits and pieces of the Audi A2 in future vehicles:
According to Autocar magazine, Audi sources confirmed that “lessons learnt from the new A2 project” would benefit future vehicles by the Ingolstadt giant, but that it had no plans for a mass-produced aluminum-framed model.
