Ever have a cop pull you over, find some weed, confiscate it and let you go? Well, then this explains a lot, not that I can blame the guy, it was free weed man! Officer Wesley Lamb faces charges of drug possession and tampering with evidence after being caught with marijuana on the job.

Best of all, they setup a sting having an undercover officer give him 86 grams of marijuana the undercover officer said he found. No report was ever filed and they followed him home where they witnessed him moving the weed from his patrol car to his personal car.

Investigators later executed a search warrant on his car and house and recovered the drugs.

Lamb is free on $7,500 bond.

Police Chief Jeff Halstead announced the charge and resignation of Officer Lamb at a Wednesday news conference.
