My thoughts on this? I have to admit it this is a catch 22 and the first time I have used "Bad Cop" followed by a question mark. The police were called in because the girl punched, kicked and threw a bottle at an aide on the bus. The girl supposedly had not taken her medicine and would not cooperate with the police. How did you think it would end girl? Had this been you or your loved ones, I don’t think you would really care; the situation had to be handled. It was already known that she was being violent so just like arriving at a domestic dispute; the police need to gain the upper hand. I bet pulling the Taser out would have got her ass up. No mention in the article of what her “special needs” are but it’s not a pass to ignore the law or hurt others. Since the medicine she failed to take was used to curb violent outbursts, you better hope it’s not you the next time the police are called. This won't be the last time we hear about this girl. Maybe next time we should leave the police department out of it and call in the nearest psych ward?
