Bike Night: Unofficial start to the season

Bike Nights are back in full swing ... finally. It was a very long winter. Yeah, I got to get out and go riding, but there are far more fair-weather riders than there are all-weather riders. Needless to say, I've been pretty much alone since October.
Last Wednesday, Bike Night started at Quaker Steak and Lube in Pleasant Hills, and not a moment too soon. The air was crisp, the skies were blue and the parking lot was filled with hundreds of motorcyclists with grins on their faces, happy to be among their own once again.

Quote from the article:
| As I was standing talking with John, a pack of motorcycles rolled in and I did a double-take. Carrie Schroder was leading the group that consisted of male and female motorcyclists. In fact, the women were up front and the men were in the back. I asked what's going on with the women leading the ride, and her friend Janice jokingly replied, "They're following the smell of our perfume!" |
