James Scott Parnwell Knight, 41, was facing a Supreme Court jury trial for serious drugs charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine. The trial had been put off twice, and was scheduled for August.

But earlier this month the Director unexpectedly withdrew all four prosecution charges.

Knight was sentenced to 32 months in prison for assaulting two men and carrying a claw hammer during a December 2007 brawl at Airport Hotel along with another member and four Hells Angels associates last year.
