Quote from the article:
He and his Corvette owner friends were at the event when a family next to them broke out their grills and began cooking. Gasper says he jokingly said to his Corvette-owning cohort that it would be cool to have a barbecue that resembled a slingshot dragster. At that moment, Top Fuel Diner was born. Gasper, a design engineer for Tavens Container and an after-market car part fabricator for Pro Street Customs, designed a dragster that accommodates a regular grill, a flat top griddle, condiment station, refrigerator and a freezer. And best of all, with a quick folding of the front wheels, the 16-foot long setup becomes a street legal trailer. |
