I love a good flight sim but therein lays the problem- good. A lot depends on what type of game you want to fly and that includes casual flying (X-Plane for example) to fighter jets, carrier landings, old school planes, large carriers, multiplayer and more. For me, this makes finding a good sim hard to do.
I just found this great read from SimHQ covering all that happened in flight sims for 2012 as well as what to expect from 2013. If you are looking for a good flight sim then you will want to read this. The end of it goes the extra mile giving awards for the best air combat and civil games, scenery and terrain and hardware.
If it’s a flight sim you want, this has your answer.
