During the early morning hours of January 6, Kershaw County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the Cassatt Country Store to investigate a burglary after a delivery man noticed the front glass door of the store had been shattered.

Responding deputies determined that a person, later identified as Austin Lee Westfall Presler, 19, had broken into the store and had stolen beer, cigarettes, snack foods, and energy drinks.

That’s where his caper went south. Apparently he got hungry during the robbery and opened a bag of Cheetos and left a few on the floor. They spotted a white car on surveillance video and went to a nearby home where they spotted a similar car and more Cheetos on the porch. You can’t make this up. He literally left a trail of Cheetos to his house. What a dummy!
