World's first hybrid convertible stuns Detroit

Henrik Fisker, the ex BMW and Aston Martin designer and the relatively new CEO of Fisker Coachbuild was buoyant Monday as he introduced his production-ready Fisker Karma plug-in series hybrid luxury car, ready to roll into an expected 40 dealerships before year-end at an unbelievably approachable price point of $87,900 USD.
Fisker hinted that 22 dealers were already on-board, all important ingredients to his goal of 15,000 Karmas delivered per year. According to Fisker, 1,300 Karmas have already been presold with deposits.
Only 12 months from concept to reality the Karma doesn't appear to have changed one iota, which is a good thing as the gracefully penned super sedan is easily one of the most beautifully sculpted cars to come along in years.
